Yamaha DGX-620 Question (recording Midi and playback)?
I am currently using Cubase SX3 to record midi output of my keyboard. The notes record fine and the program change messages seem to be recording fine, but upon playback the instrument voice is not the same as the one I recorded. Can anyone please help? Thanks alot!!

The track you are recording does not contain your specified patch because it is in listening mode on the bus transport.
Check the utility tab and use the "wet" selection, this enable the recorded patches to actually be recorded with the track, the other option is called "dry", this dry option is for users that wish to hear the effect without recording the effect.
Also note that adding many different patches will exponentially alter the original sound of the recorded track.
