my MIDI cable connection from my Yamaha keyboard to my computer doesn't work?
check your device manager and see if the sound device is fully installed and all the drivers are updated....then check your sounds settings to make sure you have the midi port available and on.
Also check which program you are using for recording or playback that it has the midi as an input available and selected.
If it still doesn't work it could be the cable is defective
