this is the first yanni book i bought. It contains some harder pieces than those found in the other In My Time portfolio. Favorites include “the mermaid” “marching season” “nostalgia” and many others found in the Acropolis video. Great to play in informal recitals. I’ve tried it and the audience is very positive. Buy it and learn the thoughts Yanni inspire.

These songs provide a wide variety of difficulty and tempo sure to satisfy any pianist whether or not he or she is a Yanni fan. This book is where you should start for learning Yanni’s music. What enhances the experience very much, if you’re not already a fan of Yanni, is his CD “Reflections of Passion.” I would HIGHLY recommend purchasing this CD also if you’re not familiar with Yanni’s music. Many of the songs in this book are contained on that CD. That said, this music is well arranged and will not disappoint. Don’t hesitate about learning some of the best music ever composed for the piano.

I would have to say that is book is very good. Some of the songs are just very good others are not. But overall great. This book is like for level 3 or 4 piano it is less difficult than Yanni’s In My Time piano. But In My Time is more piano like with is also more difficult. This book is more for melodic. Most of Yanni’s song are left hand are the same not identical but it has the same variation, but of course some part are truely unbelieveable you can play it over and over and never get tired. I would recommend this book then get the In My Time because it sightly harder. Happy Playing the Piano!!
