But then ends in a 2.5 mm cable like for example the one you would use to connect your computer microphone with? (the hole for this side of the cable is usually in the front of your computer)

Your keyboard probably has balanced XLR outputs (1/4" phono plugs). You can get an adapter that goes from 1/4" female to 1/8" male and then use a standard audio/guitar 1/4" cable.
