Piano Keyboard for scales?
I would like to know which electronic keyboard would be best for my situation. I am an advanced acoustic piano player, having played the instrument for about 10 years. I am currently in a university program which is very time consuming, but I do not want to loose my ability to play the piano. I am moving near campus with roommates, and would like to know of a cheap, preferably lightweight keyboard (to practice fingering and scales mainly) that has a headphone option (so that only I can hear myself playing). Connection to a computer (in order to record what I play) is optional.
Casio has a variety of light and full featured keyboards, and they are cheap. Roland is also good. You can get different sizes, and probably want a full sized 88 key unit, which will be close to what your hands are used to. You can also get pressure sensitive keys with a more natural feel.
