Do you know anything about midi keyboards?
Just a little information on me. I'm a music teacher that does a lot of arrangement of classical music. Not only for my students put also for publishers. I want to get a midi keyboard to make input faster and a bit easier. What midi keyboard would you suggest. I'm a Sibelius 5 user. Thanks in advance.
I'm happy with my Yamaha P-200 going to a M•Audio Midisport 2X2 interface to my computer and Sibelius 5. My stuff is getting a bit dated. Most newer keyboards will have a direct USB/MIDI interface built in. If I were to buy a new piano, I'd probably look at Roland first. If you're looking for a stage piano, the RD700GX is great, but there are also many more models. The RP101 is fine as a home instrument with not to many bells and whistles. Yamaha's CP140/140S is also a nice basic instrument for note input.
I let Sibelius use sound libraries for the playback of parts, so I don't need an overkill digital bells and whistles piano.
