How do you use a USB MIDI UX16 recording with Yamaha and GarageBand on mac?
I just bought a USB MIDI UX16 Interface for my Yamaha keyboard. I installed the driver for the Interface and I'm trying to use GarageBand to record and edit but its not recording anything. Anyone have any ideas on what I can do?
make sure your preferences are set to accept it as the input. (gb and osx prefs)
make sure you are monitoring. and double check that everything is hooked up correctly. check to see if you are getting signal anywhere in the line. (watch the level meters)
could be lots of things but this is where to start.
