I'd like to get a music keyboard for use with FruityLoops, Cubase etc... what kind do I get?
I've been looking at digital pianos, but I'm not sure what kind of output I would need in order to plug into my PC for use with editing programs. Synthesizer, Workstation, Piano, Midi... what's the dif? Can any be used? I just want to hit actual piano keys as opposed to using my PC's keyboard. Looking at spending around $200, but I would also like to be able to use it as a stand alone music keyboard. I'd also like X/Y controls. Any recommendations? Thanks!
IF YOU WANT MIDI AND AUDIO I WOULD SAY THE YAMAHA PSRE-403 WOULD BE THE BEST CHOICE, IT RUNS FOR ABOUT 200 NEW OR YOU CAN FIND A USED ONE FOR LESS. IT IS USB OUT SO YOU WONT NEED A MIDI INTERFACE TO HOOK IT UP TO YOUR PC AND LIKE I MENTIONED EARLIER IT HAS AUDIO AS WELL.
