Maybe I am not the best person to review this item. It has been quite a while since I played and we just got the piano for my daughter. Having said that and saying she plays better than me, I have to say I did like the book. It helped me more than her though. So even though I did buy it for her to practice in it was way over her head even as a beginner book. It is suited to an older person. To break it down if you need it for a kid under 10 get something easier to read or plan to play it yourself. Older than 10 it is an awesome book.
