Stocking Stuffers...Two Year Old Girl?

My daughter has a ton of stuff (three sets of Grandparents that spoil her rotten, three aunts, one uncle, neices, and nephews) and I'm at a loss on what to get as far as little stuff to put into her stocking as I'm boycotting MOST toys this year. If it's made in China, I'm not buying it! As far as other gifts, we're getting her snacks, juice boxes, and mainly clothes. I'm still seeking GOOD education toys not made in China.

My daughter has more crayons, coloring books, books, stickers, jewelry, hair things, children's videos, toddler music CD's, than I know what to do with. She also has a small flashlight, and nightlight. So far I was thinking maybe some fun socks (hard to find for a two year old), Band-Aids with her favorite characters on them, training paste, and a new toothbrush. Any other thoughts would be appreciated.

FUn socks are easy to find if you go to places like Baby Gap.

I like all your ideas so far- how about starting a tradition for her that certain things are always inthe stocking? In our house, it is an orange, a small box of chocolates, chocolate coins, a bookmark anf then something unique that fits that person - tends to be something strange. (For example, for my artist daughter I got her a mini posable drawing mannequin that is an alien).

I know some companies that do historical toys -all of wood, american made, often handmade, but most of them are not in her age range and dexterity yet.

Send me a PM and I'll see if I can find some of those sites for you- but I'll need a reminder.

EDIT - in the future, let relatives know that they can only bring her one small gift per visit - and homemade cookies are as much as a gift as a new toy. My old boss ( whom I used to nanny for) would take the stuff relatives send, write a thank you note, and then put most of them up to be given out later or even to charity. Consider also putting away some of her toys and cycling them to keep the toys fresh and interesting to her. And donate any she just doesn't show interest in or has too many of.)
