Can You Take Sounds From A MIDI Keyboard and Put Them Into Fl Studios?
Is there some way you can take sounds from your midi keyboard and put them in fl studios or just play the sound on the keyboard ant it comes out in fl studios. I use a casio ctk-720 and it connects through usb. If there is a way would you explain how to do it
Not through the USB cable with that keyboard. The USB cable is for sending power and MIDI to the ctk-720.
You can trigger instruments inside FL Studio, but it won't be the sounds from your keyboard, it will be MIDI signal causing virtual instruments to play (like the FL Keys plug-in). Your keyboard has output though, so you can connect the output of your keyboard to the input of the audio interface that you are using if it has one. If you are using the onboard sound card of your computer, then try getting an adapter to plug into the little 1/8" jack (This might not work and I would really look into using an audio interface that has inputs).
One thing I wanted to mention is that audio CAN travel through USB, but in the case of your keyboard, it is only sending MIDI information amd will not transfer the internal sounds through anything besides the outputs.
