Beginner music learning advice?
well im starting to get more and more interested in music and i want to learn how to play some instrumets starting with the piano but im not sure what the easiest best way to learn is - by book on my own or paying for classes- any idea?
Its possible to learn on your own as many have. However if you come to something you dont understand, theres no one really to explain it to you.
You can find some online sites that will aide in reading sheet music, as well as basic chord layout, scales and chord progression, and moving into music theory itself. I would google for as much as you can, and if you are having problems understanding it on your own, then seek the classes.
Maybe you could find a pay-per-class session, so you dont feel like you wasted your money on a package deal you lose interest in after 3 weeks. At least its a way to get you started understanding the basics.
